Outside the Cabin
This is a demo, that contains four separate stories. Each story features the same protagonist.
Total time-to-read: (12000 words) approximately 90 minutes.
[NOT SUITABLE FOR VULNERABLE AUDIENCES]
CW: profanity, explicit violence, mental instability and self-harm.
For those who are photosensitive:
(There is also one optional scene with a bright light, so if you are photosensitive avoid the choice to ignore the rattling sound in 'False Sun'. It is only a short dead end, so you don't miss much content by skipping it.)

Played this with a friend in VC, caught my eye because of the strong screenshot compositions even in minimalist grayscale. We got so engrossed that we immediately 100%'d the entire game, and our playthrough took 4x the recommended length due to dissecting almost every single line of dialogue and narration.
The worldbuilding here is some of the best I have seen in an incredibly long time, and I am withholding a lot of specific praise out of fear of spoilers, but I am utterly fascinated and dying to learn more.
We audibly groaned at the end of each scene from desperately wanting more content and answers, then eagerly played through more branches. This is a serious achievement in minimalism, horror, dark fantasy, rich environmental storytelling, complex characterization, and this is only for an in-development demo. I hope to see some updates from the creator, this is a project well worth taking the time on and VERY well worth playing.
Recommending to every horror fan I know, 5/5, I hope to see more soon!! I want to know more!!!

Thank you so much for this comment! I've had some irl things to keep me busy for a few months, but I hope to make a lot of progress this year. I'm really glad you were able to really enjoy this demo and even dig into a lot of the smaller details! This VN is so strange that I genuinely didn't know if anyone would like it, so I'm happy that it was able to engross you in this way!
Strange and wonderful things are my favorite cup of tea. Looking forward to any progress you have to share, this year or anytime in the future!
